Martial Arts

When you hear word Karate or Martial Arts, the very first thing that come into people's mind is strenuous, something which is suitable for Boys as it is a field which requires hard-work and many difficulties. so its very rare for girls to adapt such career or even pursue it as hobby.

Especially, in Pakistan its even more of a difficult task for a girl to ask her Guardians to allow her pursue this even for a hobby and also to maintain her reputation after going in this field.
Because there are still (i would like to say) nor some but most people who think off girls as their inferior and in their minds if a girl adapt such field she is a Rouge.
But thankfully there are also some people who understands it that no matter what field girls are also eligible for participating in it on the basis of merit and their talent  and not just on the basis of gender.

Also the major problem in the lack of girls in these field is that we set our females mindset they are weaker than men so they hesitate in coming forward and pushing their limits. Which is also the major reason for their morale to be equal to zero.

However, in my point of view and personal experience girls can do way better than boys in such fields because of their physique and stamina and many other factors. What they have to do is to just leave behind the concept and habit of being weak ones or to be in need to be protected.

Instead they should train themselves to be able protect themselves as well as others. Martial Arts is not only for self protection or is a good and profitable line of work but also its have many benefits for the one, both physical fitness as well as mind's.

Where it makes u fit physically and allows you to push your limits, it also  enhance your mental health and allow you to focus in your goal more proficiently. being a martial artist doesn't mean that you could be going on street to pick a fight or you should be performing stunts everyday No a Big NO but it is to enhance your own self for your own self it has nothing to do with other people. The only person you need to be better than is the person you were yesterday.

Its also not necessary for you to adapt karate or martial arts as a profession but you can also be in game as a hobby. Growing up I was always interested in such fields and was always seeking for an opportunity to go this way .TBH people around me were not so sportive of this line of work for girls or even for a hobby , so i couldn't bring it up in front of my parents for a long time. But then i decided that its now or never so one day i went to my father and talk about it to him.

And i confessed that i want to take it as a hobby and talked about the pros and cons. At last he agreed and let me got an admission in karate academy. Despite of the opposition of many family members. He was the one who supported me. And I am very thankful to him.

My soul purpose of writing this blog is to convey this message that if there are any girls out there who want to pursue this profession or any other and are afraid of peoples voices and are even afraid to confess their parents , please don't be afraid they are your parents please talk to them if not both talk to at-least one of them first and discuss it with them.

Because if u are afraid of being called out or being rejected u can not be successful in life ,'Fear is not real , its simply the product of thoughts u create in your mind' so if u fear it without trying it out you'll lose a battle before going into the field. I will not say that i was not afraid yes i was but i had to try for least one the excess it could go to would be i'll be denied of doing it.but the try was worth it, and now with the grace of Almighty I am successful in it .

So please try least one time. and fight for it , i'm not telling you to go and directly fight with your family Nope i would not suggest it in any given condition but to convince them them by good means and tell them your point of views about it. And trust me they would help you out and will surely be supportive towards you.

And last but not the least never give up. As they say "every black belt is a white belt who never quit" so please never quit trying.
So one day you can proudly say my girl that;
